Our History

The Australian Early Childhood College (AECC) aims to be Australia's leading trainer of quality early childhood staff, who demonstrate skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care and education to children.

For 20 years we have worked with hundreds of workplaces and thousands of students. We have worked everywhere across the diverse range of communicty sector organisations, government departments and small and large businesses. The core of our business has always been children's services and in 2017 we determined to only work here, from now on. This business decision let to AECC removing qualifications from our scope of delivery so we can specialise in three qualifications only. The truth we know about training is that it only really succeeds in the workplace when there is a real partnership between the trainer, the student and their employer. When these three groups work together with shared goals, resources and clear roles the outcomes for the workplace and the student is to be envied.

We are a Registered Training Organisation with a range of qualifications on our scope, selected to support the Children's Services Sector, in particular Early Childhood Education and Care. To see our full list of qualifications click here.
